Kevin & Sharon Gerchak

LEAD PASTOR

Kevin has been the Lead Pastor at New Life since the fall of 1998.  He’s passionate about bringing the Word of God to life and encouraging individuals to go deep in their relationship with Jesus.  Sharon was brought on staff in the fall of 2015 for the areas of Kids and Connections and received her ordination through the Assemblies of God in 2022.  The two met at Northwest College (now Northwest University) where they received their degrees in Pastoral Ministries and Elementary Education.  They have three boys and one daughter-in-law.  In their free time, you’ll probably find the Gerchak family members behind a musical instrument or on the golf course.

ALEX & LACEY GORROD

YOUTH/ASSOCIATE PASTOR

Pastor Alex earned his degree in Pastoral Studies with a Youth Ministry minor from Eugene Bible College and came on staff at New Life in the fall of 2002 (when he still had hair on his head).  His ministry strengths are teaching and relationship building which have produced a solid, consistent youth group.  He’s also super organized, which benefits the entire church!  He and Lacey married in 2005 and have 2 daughters, Emma and Amy.  A quick look at Alex’s office will reveal that he enjoys sci-fi, dinosaurs, video games, and just about anything that’s nerdy.  He has a passion for seeing the youth of this community find hope and healing through Jesus.  Lacey enjoys baking and works as a para-professional at Goldendale Primary School.  She desires to see people embrace the love that God has for them.
